Kathy Garber, R.N./ B.S.N./ M.A., Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist has more than 20 years in the healthcare and mental health industry. She is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family therapists. Kathy is a member of The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, an honorary member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honorary Nursing Society, a Diplomat of the American Association of Anger Management Providers, a Diplomat of the National Anger Management Association,and Association for Conflict Resolution. She has a background and expertise in "The Lawlis Series" on Dr. Phil's Approaches. Dr. Lawlis is the principal content advisor to the Dr. Phil show and the only authorized instructor of the Dr. Phil approaches to life change.
 

Kathy works as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Life and Family Strategist, Certified Anger Management Facilitator, Mediator, Certified Parenting Instructor and Anger Management Evaluator. She works with numerous Probation Departments, Human Resource Departments and psychotherapists across the United States. She works with divorcing couples in arranging successful co-parenting agreements. Kathy enjoys working with individuals and groups teaching successful anger management skills in a variety of settings.
